So I have another idea for a story. 6/8/09

Anyway, it's based loosely off of a dream I had a while before I moved. I remember most of the details, since I wrote it down as soon as I woke up. it was that awesome of a dream.

It's really sci-fi/fantasy, and I've never attempted that before. I'll give it a shot.

Here's a kind-of lowdown, since some of you won't be able to read the story. It'll be on Mibba.

So a girl named Felicity and her family (brother:jared, mom:marlene) move from Tenessee to Ireland, to get away from Marlene's crazy stalker ex. He's only in the first chapter, and only ever will be. 'cause I don't wanna build a character for him.

So in felicity's first couple weeks of school, she meets Seamus. Seamus = dark, mysterious, gorgeous bad-boy type. And he likes her. But here's the weird thing: she doesn't like him. like AT ALL. Ok, eventually, he convinced her to come to dinner with him and his family. Then they all reveal that they're... well, for lack of a better word, werewolves. Basically shapeshifters, they don't rely on a full moon. Ok, read Blood & Chocolate. Or watch it. They're loup-garou, except Irish. (Ok, in my dream, they were vampires, but as cool as vampires are, they're super-overdone. so I did a little improv.)

Seamus' family:
three sisters; Bailey, Melody, and Kate.
one brother; Jerome.
mom and dad; Siobhan and Declan.
All the kids are from one "litter," so to avoid publicity for being quint kids (and of course, the secret being exposed), they say that Bailey, Jerome, and Kate are Siobhan's sister and brother-in-law's kids. and the sister and b-i-l died in some freak accident right after the kids were born, and Siobhan and Declan took them in.

Anyway, there's this rival clan that's been trying to smite the family for generations, and they have a little off-the-side, meet-me-in-the-parking-lot fight. and it gets WAAAY out of line, so much so that the rival clan ends up killing Bailey and kidnapping Felicity.

So, Seamus goes and does his boy-avenging-the-girls thing, and gets Felicity back. And they realize that the only way for Felicity not to get taken again is if the rival clan gets destroyed. And they can't do that very well without Bailey.

Felicity wants to take Bailey's place, since those guys who kidnapped her treated her like epic excrement. But everyone else says, "No, it's too dangerous, we don't want you to live like us." Becasue the only way she could help would be if she were to get turned into one of them. and if anyone found out, everyone would cast her out, she wouldn't be able to live a normal life, she couldn't be able to get too close to someone without the risk of hurting them... plus, hello. wolves.

Besides, nobody knows how to do it right. Everyone in the family tree was born like that for the last eight generations, so they've only ever heard legends on how to turn a human.

Ok, eventually they realize that the only way they can beat the rival clan is if someone does take Bailey's place. and since someone has to, might as well be someone who's willing. So they take a couple days to look through the family documents to try and find a way to turn Felicity, and after some time, they find it. And they turn her, and she ends up being this WICKED RAD cross-breed thing. Like, she has her human form, and her wolf form, and then she has a third form, a cross between the two-like what a stereotypical, low-budget horror film werewolf looks like except REAL. bipedal, very human-like features, except a snout, a lot of hair, and sharp stuff. Claws, teeth.. yeah.

but nobody'd ever heard of a third form before!

Therefore, Seamus & co. have a super advantage. 'cause that somewhere-in-between thing is STRONG.

So, they kick major booty, and everyone lives in peace.

And I still haven't decided if Seamus and Felicity will get together in the end... Chloe, let's talk about that. mk? :D

I already have the prelude written, and it's halfway decent for an intro.
