All right, so here's what happened *today*. 5/5/09

So Mandaheyy! didn't bring me a string again today (by the way, that is the only way I refer to Mandaheyy!, her name's Amanda but I never call her that. Like if we're in the hall, I'll say, "Manda, hey!" and that evolved into Mandaheyy!. and it does have to have the exclamation oint! at the end). So I figure I'll just ask Jake or someone else who plays guitar for a string. And even if I don't have a string, I'll play my guitar anyway. It's not like there's that much of a difference, I still know the fret patterns.

So during homeroom, I went in the band room to go play, and wouldn't you know it, the guys were there. except Matt (duh). And they were all having a jam session, practising for their show in about a week or so, and I just put my guitar down. You try playing an acoustic with two electrics and a drum set going. (Audibly, at least... I still could play, I just wouldn't be able to hear myself.)

Then at lunchtime, I found out something else about Matt... He is, in fact a rulebreaker. Remember how I said he's not allowed in the band room?

umyeah.

And that's kinda hot. =]

No idea how I ever pegged a guy like that for the good-boy type.

By the way, I can actually talk to him without mentally wigging out. And he's actually a really cool person.

Okay, for the most part he follows rules, but he has his moments - like last week, he got kicked out of health class for disrupting. Anyway, but me, Jake, Matt, and Marty (Kevin doesn't have lunch with us, and Guitar-Matt was off somewhere else, and Marty is this adorable, little-kid looking person. But in an annoying way. He's another one of that group) had a jam session in one of the practice rooms.

And that was cool, I got to learn something on the guitar from Jake... and..

Okay, all I ever talk about is those guys. I admit it.

I have got to find other friends. But, that's all right. They're good kids.

Or at least, a more exciting life... gahhhh.

But by the same token, these guys are into pretty much the same things as I am, whereas I have nothing in common with anyone else except Mandaheyy! and Lauryn.

So that's what happened today. And in the past two days I have summed up everything that's happened in the past two weeks.
